There has got to be a better way for live ins than EVV.  Dealing with a disabled family member makes life very stressful.  As attendant, my job is caring for them 24/7.  Because my family member will be living with us for the rest of their life, EVV is an unnecessary burden.  During Christmas and New Year's vacation with extended family, I had to interrupt special outings and activities to deal with the clock.  A few times, the app didn't work right and I had to stress during holidays trying to get it to work and wondering if I would be paid or investigated or both.  That is not a way to live a life especially during the holidays.  My family member goes with me wherever I go.  EVV is a burden in our situation.
