I am a Virginia woman, and I am sick of anti-choice extremists forcing bad regulations through the legislature to deny me access to quality health care.  The TRAP regulations are designed to indiscriminately shut down all facilities that provide women with constitutionally protected reproductive health services- contraception, cancer screenings, STI tests, annual exams, and yes, safe, legal abortions.

The argument that these regulations are designed to protect women's health are disengenuous and just plain false.  Anti-choice extremists support these regulations to shut down safe, reputable facilities.  This not only strips women of their access to legal abortion procedures, but also takes away access to important preventative care like contraception.  Not only does this make no practical sense, but it is immoral and wrong.

The services these facilities provide are safe and legal.  They should continue to operate without the unnecessary TRAP regulations so that women can continue to exercise their reproductive rights.
