It makes perfect sense to me that abortion clinics should be adhering to the same standards that hospitals do. Abortion, as ugly and abhorrent as it is, is a surgical procedure with the same risks as surgical procedures performed in hospitals. This will protect women from infections and other downsides to unsafe environments in abortion clinics.
