I am writing to express my concern that the TRAP laws, signed into law in December 2012 by Gov. McDonnell, will restrict access to abortion for women. I believe that the laws unfairly target abortion providers, who have been providing women with essential healthcare services for years, safely and legally. As a woman of child-bearing age, I am deeply concerned that my healthcare will be put into jeopardy if these laws are approved by the Board of Health.
