I strongly urge DMAS to preserve the Services Facilitator Program because of its vital impact on both participants and providers. Participants depend on Services Facilitators for guidance, informed decision-making, continuity of care, and maintaining independence at home. Providers play an essential role in coordinating services, supporting caregivers, and ensuring compliance with DMAS requirements. Eliminating this program could create service disruptions, increase the burden on families, limit participant choice, and threaten provider sustainability. I respectfully request DMAS to protect and strengthen this essential program to ensure continued access to quality, person-centered care in Virginia.
