Designated Emergency Response Agency

In the Definitions section, the Local EMS response plan refers to responding interval standards.  Section 12VAC5-31-610 (DERA) refers to the responding interval standard and the unit mobilization interval in a few instances.  The responding interval standard and unit mobilization interval were both stricken in the the definitions section.  Responding interval was replaced by Responding time.  Either the stricken definitions or the terminology in the DERA section needs to corrected.

Also, in 12VAC5-31-610 (DERA) A. 1. the section calls for "...in coordination with their locality..."  How do you define "in coordination with their locality" as used in this section?  Is this the local governing body, a chief administrative officer, or department head?  Section A. 2. states "...in conjunction with OMD and local government in the best interests of the patient and the community."  Again, how do you define "local government" in this section?
