I am writing to respectfully ask that you consider the importance of service facilitators and the valuable work they provide to the individuals, families, and communities they serve. Service Facilitators play an essential role in helping people access the services and the support they need. They build relationships, coordinate resources, communicate with families and providers, and help ensure that individuals receive consistent and appropriate care. Their knowledge, experience, and relationships with the people they service can never be replaced. I strongly encourage you to consider alternatives before eliminating service facilitator positions. Losing these jobs could create significant challenges for both employees and the individuals who depend on their assistance. Keeping experienced service facilitators would provide stability, continuity, and quality of service. It would also preserve dedicated employees who have developed valuable skills and relationships within the community. Service Facilitation is a required service for families and clients to ensure their needs are met through a variety of support. Our service facilitator is so much more than someone who helps coordinate services. they are someone we trust, someone who listens to us, advocates for us, and truly understands our needs. Their support has made such an important difference in our lives, and we would be deeply affected if we lost them. We truly value everything they do for us and hope their position can be protected. I respectfully ask that you reconsider any decision that could result in service facilitators losing their jobs and explore other options that would allow these very important people to remain in place. They are our guardian angels..
