Stop overfishing Menhaden

I am 55 years old, I have fished the east coast my whole life from Maine to the Carolinas and currently the menhaden are very small and scarce when I do see them. The bay is obviously a breeding ground for menhaden and should not be commercially fished along with the whole east coast. There are many species that rely on menhaden for survival. Blue crabbing is down, blue fishing is down, striped bass is down, Tuna are way down. Whales are dying and Osprey do not stick around for their season as long as they used to. These are effects I have noticed firsthand that I believe are related to the reduction of menhaden due to commercial fishing. Please stop or you'll destroy many species that rely on them. Thank you for your consideration.
