I live on Gwynn's Island, and during the deep winter months of the pandemic, the blue fleet (two boats) was bottom trawling in shallow water usually fished by our natural oyster patent tongers. For a week thereafter the beaches were littered with bottom growth, the coral-type plants, dead shell fish and dead fish. There were waters they were not allowed to be in - we all thought. I supported their line but certainly no longer do. Only one school of menhadden minnows cam by Gwynn, all summer of this year. One osprey tried, but could not catch them, and gave up. Their catch each day is bad faith and deception.
