I live in Fairfax County Virginia and I oppose Petition 432.  While the petition represents that it is about locker rooms, it is not.  It is about labeling people as harmful based on who they are.  The Board of Health should be focused on the real public health issues facing women and girls in Virginia such as domestic violence, maternal health and poverty not labeling groups as harmful.   What is harmful is the focus and rhetoric around transgender and the LGBTQ community.   I don’t understand how a group that professes to have Christian values spends its time and energy focusing on hate and harm instead of love and service.    Do not let groups like these do the same to our public institutions set up to be of service to all people especially those who are marginalized.
