Oppose this

This is a solution looking for a problem.  Trans athletes are tiny in number and there surely can be a compromise created.  The INTERNATIONAL OLYMPIC COMMITTEE has been working on this for years and their research/processes/procedures/rules can be used to create the compromise needed.

I DO NOT support this because it links "female spaces" to trans athletes.  The term "female spaces" is very broad and can mean any restroom or locker room or nursing/breastfeeding room.  Males are very often in "female spaces" at home and in the public.  Linking this issue to trans athletes is ridiculous.  And to be even more specific, all female bathrooms and locker rooms have privacy for showers and toilets.  There are places to change your clothes where people cannot see you.  I DO NOT support this because it blanketly implies that trans athletes are not to be trusted or have nefarious intentions towards females.  This thinking creates distrust and division.  I DO NOT support this because in my gut, I believe this is an issue more important to parents than it is to student athletes.  I have teens in high school and college, both are athletes and they do not find this to be an issue of great concern.
