Transgender women are not men. Discrimination, bullying and junk science have no place in a regulatory body. This is just one more heinous, fear mongering attack on a group of people that pose no threat to anyone. And thanks to baseless attacks like these, they themselves become the targets of physical and mental abuse.

How would such a ban be enforced? Subjecting youth to physical gender checks? By who?

The idea that perceived advantage in sport should be a basis for discrimination and violation of basic human rights is wholly unacceptable. Real physical advantages due to size, age, and a biological lottery of physical traits predisposing any individual to excel at any particular sport are abundant. Are we going to start regulating those at the state level?

Each sport and it's own governing bodies should be left to decide what the rules are to make play fair. Play being the operative word. Sport. A game. Stop the hate. Enough is enough.
