I live in James City County and I oppose Petition 432.

Transgender Virginians are people and all people deserve the same rights. Discrimination is wrong and cruel, Virginia cannot go back to before times. 

This is just another attack of an over politicized agenda to cause harm to this vulnerable group of people. This will set Virginia back and put us on the wrong side of history. 

Transgender women are such a small group of Virginians, do not let these groups fill our state with hate.

I have a close friend who happens to be transgender and their identity does not define them. They are a whole person who is just trying to live their life like anyone else does. 

Let's focus on real public health issues facing women and girls in Virginia, like domestic violence, maternal health, and poverty. Don’t let this hateful petition distract from your important mission to protect the health and promote the well-being of ALL people in Virginia.
