So it’s costing the watermen more for the pots to catch a cheaper crab. Also, the catching of turtles may be an issue closer to the coastal areas that the diamondback terrapins are located, however on the upper rappahonck I’ve never seen a turtle in a pot. So seems pointless for the watermen in the upper tributaries to have to add the extra cost.
