Cut Carbon and Help the Commonwealth

As Virginians, we support the initiative taken by Governor McAuliffe to act on climate. We request that the Department of Environmental Quality use its authority to create a standard — based on the strongest available science — that significantly reduces carbon pollution from Virginia’s power plants. In addition, we support a rule that address the disproportionate environmental effects — from poor air quality to increased flooding — experienced by our most vulnerable communities.
