PT should not be allowed to practice acupuncture . Anybody without adequate training shouldn't insert a needle to other person's body . This is a serious public safety issue. 
Acupuncture is a medical procedure , it is not a Physical Therapy , and it should only be practiced by a certified acupuncturest .
