This is incredulous to believe  that on the job training  is sufficient  to allow a dental assistant  to do a hygienist  job. There is no way to scale  teeth without  going below the gum line. There has to be better regulation. Please do not allow this to happen.  We need to continue  with the proper training and assessment  programs established!!
