I do not support the passage of this petition. It is absurd to place a moratorium on a fishery that is not overfished and that overfishing is not occurring. There is no scientific or economic basis for such a petition. Once again, this only amounts to a targeted attack against Omega Protein/Ocean Harvestors and has nothing at all to do with actual conservation or ecological necessity.
