I live in Arlington County and I oppose petition 432. 

This petition is not about locker rooms. The Board of Health should not be labeling people as harmful based on who they are. It is part of an orchestrated campaign to ban transgender people from public view. They do not pose a risk to women in locker rooms.

There are other more serious issues women face such as domestic abuse and maternal health. Let's focus eergy on those issues and not this bogus non-issue.

I know trans women. They are people just like me, deserving the same respect as any person. I would be quite comfortable for my daughters or myself to share a locker room with them.
