The DSM-5 categorizes gender dysphoria as a mental illness. Why are we creating laws that accommodate the incorrect thoughts of a person with a mental illness? We should certainly have compassion for people, but sympathy doesn't mean real facts no longer matter. Laws should be created on the basis of truth and the truth of the matter is a man or a woman can't change their biology. They can change their outward appearance all they want but the truth still lives in every cell of their body. I stand in full support of keeping biological males out of biological female sports and spaces where biological females have a reasonable expectation of privacy.
