As many others have said, the drastic fee increase being proposed will likely have a huge impact on our abilities. This could easily become cost-prohibitive to many who are already struggling to make ends meet. As nurses/healthcare providers we give so much of ourselves to our work and to make these changes will lead to many leaving this career path/prevent many others from going into to begin with. The increase in fees is not associated with any increase in protections for us, our licenses or our patients and is wholly unnecessary.
