I had a serious spinal cord injury in 2017. I was in a wheelchair and walker at age 35. The only form of pain relief available to me that is non addicting is gabapentin. On a high dose of gabapentin, my hair started to fall out. It also made me sleepy and tired during the day. Piror to the injury, I held a six figure professional job.. After the injury I could not work, yet alone walk. However, with kratom I was able to manage my pain and get back to work. It is impossible to overdose on it. Once I was in a lot of pain after a fall and I took too much, I simply threw up. Do not take away the only option I have for non habit forming pain management. I still have stiffness, numbness every day. Kratom helps me to be able to walk and be active.
