As you can see from the 108,000 American overdose deaths per year from unregulated drugs adulterated with Fentanyl, scheduling drugs does not reduce harm, nor stop or prevent use of any drugs.
The better option is to follow the path of alcohol and regulate commercial sales, supply, and distribution of all drugs in the same manner.
There is no point in paying taxes to mandate people can only use the most dangerous forms of drugs -unregulated.
