I am a pharmacist in Virginia, unlike the majority of these commenters who are from out of state and are pouring in from reddit kratom and other subreddits. I will not leave my name in public for fear of doxxing and other harassment from these unhinged individuals. 
I urge the board of pharmacy to act in the best interest of the public. Kratom is dangerous and serves no medical purpose. Please review the NCAM, FDA and a pubmed search. Reading through these public comments is enough self evidence of how addictive and unhealthy this substance is. It also highlights how uninformed and misled the general public is about kratom, demonstrating the need to classify it as a schedule 1.
