Kratos ban

I'D LIKE YOU TO PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO READ MY STORY ABOUT HOW KRATOM CONTINUES TO HELP ME.

I am a 63 year old woman who has a very rare auto-immune illness that stole my career as a Christian Elementary Education teacher (I have a Master's Degree in Teaching) in 2009. I developed anxiety and depression after not being able to teach. I lived with pain daily. At one point I was on 8 prescription medications, ALL that had mild to severe side effects. Then, my son told me about kratom. I began taking it  5 years ago, and I am now on only 1 RX medication. I was able to get off my anti-depressants, (which actually caused suicidal episodes), anti-anxiety, sleep and pain meds. I have never had to increase the amount of kratom I take. It has no side effects and I have found it to be a life-saver. Please research it. The pharmaceutical companies ARE behind the push to make it illegal. They know that it has the potential to replace their money making drugs and cut into their profits. PLEASE do not ban it. If you start that ball rolling, you have know idea the harm you will be doing to people like myself who rely on it. I do not want to have to go back to the life I had on all the prescription meds I was on. Thank you for reading my message. Sincerely, Eileen Philips
