I am a Peer Recovery Coach, and this plant has literally saved the lives of countless people in my opioid-ridden community.  Countless people have quit opioids and heroin successfully because of this plant.  Please consider regulating it ONLY.  I believe it should be regulated as alcohol and tobacco are.  Yes, there are risks involved with kratom use.  It is t for everybody and responsible use should be advised.  But taking this medicinal plant away would effectively cause the lives of many to slip right back into opioid use and abuse.  Save this plant!  Save your communities.  Regulate this, don’t ban it!
