Another pain patient, saved.

The comments speak for themselves, I’m yet another voice. Admittedly, most comments online don’t “feel” real, as opposed to the impact when everyone marched for this amazing plant in Washington D.C. Nevertheless, as a chronic patient who was prescribed a heavy pain medication (early 20s at that during that time) and turned to Kratom to finally withdraw cold turkey, I can say with absolute certainty that it saved my life. Withdrawing from an opiate was absolute, torturous hell on earth. Succumbing to being sick while not having the luxury to take time off work, Mitragyna Speciosa saved me. I never want to go through opiate withdrawals again and pray I never have to for as long as I live. Pain medication has its time and place where Kratom may not work. I have also withdrawn entirely from Kratom in the process of trying to conceive/pregnancy. Did it have some uncomfortable side effects? Yes, as no one enjoys chronic pain. I can say having been on both sides that it was negligible compared to the opioid.

Trying to make this natural tea that anyone who has ever taken it (on its own, not in combination) knows is the most harmless, yet legitimately powerful plant. My personal opinion since the 2018 ordeal is that the higher-ups solely want to synthesize Mit7 for pharmaceutical gain. There’s little potential for abuse of non-altered Kratom. It will make you sick, you’ll feel unwell and throw it all up before risking any side effect. You must find a reputable vendor (very high chance it isn’t your local gas station), and stop trying to market this as a dangerous substance. Do the real research and findings of unbiased data and it will speak for itself.
