I started out as an addict, but a doctor made addict. I had very common and reoccurring kidney stones from 2013-2016. The doctors here prescribed me addictive painkillers, all the while telling me it was time released and not addictive. That was a lie. Once I ran out of the supply prescribed to me, I experienced horrific withdrawals that lasted on and off for almost 2 months. But then PAWS reared it's ugly head and I know experience full on withdrawals due to Post accute withdrawl syndrome every 6-8 weeks even though I have been clean for almost a decade. When I experience PAWS from the medicine given to me by Virginia doctors, kratom makes it to where I can actually function. I was already clean when i found kratom but I wish i had found it sooner as I wouldn't have been stuck in my bed for weeks during withdrawals.
I have worked in the industry since 2018, been an advocate for this plant since 2016 and for the first time since I became a mother, finally feel like I can be the best mom I can be. Kratom is coffees literal plant cousin. Pure, lab tested, UNADULTERATED, kratom is just as safe is not more than coffee. Yes kratom needs to be used in moderation for best results...just like coffee. Please do not make this plant illegal if you are going to continue to let coffee be sold. If you ban one, in order for it to make sense, you'd need to ban the other. But if we regulate the industry and make sure safety procedures are followed from harvest to doorstep, Kratom can not only help, it can also save lives. Please take my story into consideration. Thank you.
