Please do NOT schedule kratom!

I have friends and  family members who have used kratom safely for years. They use it for relief from pain, energy to get through the day, and to improve mood. I have never seen any negative side effects with the right doses, and in the case of an overdose, the user might get nauseated, constipated, a little on edge or sleepy. Most recently I’ve watched a close family member use it to endure the pain of healing from an injury where an hunting arrow went through his leg. He hasn’t needed to use any other pain management, no narcotics or even NSAIDS. Please do not make mitragynine and 7-hydroxymytragynine schedule 1! Kratom helps to save lives, not to destroy them.
