Kratom is anything but a schedule 1 drug. It has saved my life and so many others I know from a prison of opioid hell dealing with DDD. While I'll always have pain to fight kratom has made rebound pain is no longer an issue and my dose has never increased after 10 years plus bonus effects~ I no longer get painfully sunburned and if I get stung by a wasp I'm not running for the ER or an EpiPen. It is an incredible plant helping many things so I think you'll be doing your community a grave disservice if you ban it. It needs more research done for all it's medicinal value.
