We all know about the fentanyl crisis. If you outlaw kratom, which many people have used to get off of pharmaceutical opiates or street opiates, they will be forced to find street drugs and risk their lives. 
This plant is harming no one! If you want a nice compromise, make the extracts illegal and leave the powder and capsules out of it.
