Please do not ban Kratom, it is a Miracle Tree, and I do not say this lightly. I am a 42 year old man, in my early 30s, I went through a very difficult divorce and custody battle, and found myself with a bad anxiety disorder. Panic attacks, depression, and feeling like I was going to crawl out of my skin. I ended up with a prescription for Xanax and took it  for 2 years, needing to dose right after waking up and throughout the day to be functional at my place of employment. Then I found Kratom through a friend and since that time, I have used this amazing plant to flat out cure my anxiety and depression almost entirely.  I have not needed Xanax for years now, and use the ground up Kratom leaf as my medicine. I completely quit alcohol as well, not needing it’s effects to subdue the anxiety or depression.

This leaf is nothing more than medicine for a lot of people. It has many health benefits along with keeping people off intravenous drug use, among many other things. 

Banning this leaf would no doubt kill people and unnecessarily destroy lives in the process. Kratom is safe, and natural! Please do not take this away from everyone.
