Banning Kratom is a step backwards

It’s very simple — Kratom has proven to be a very safe remedy and its free and open access is incredibly important for pain patients who wish to stay off of dangerous prescription pain medication.

I hope the Board of Pharmacy’s memory isn’t so short that it forgets the devastation laid from opiates, and many of those addicts are successfully treating their addiction and abstaining from prescription opiates with Kratom.

The War on Drugs is an utter failure. Kratom hasn’t killed anyone, and it’s safe to consume as it’s been legal and available in America for a decade at this point. The “Kratom deaths” reported are extremely suspect, with many other substances in the deceased’s blood.

Leave Kratom alone.
