Many of us have escaped deadly circumstances and regained our lives thanks to this leaf. It’s shameful that many in our leadership are so eager to leverage fear and ignorance to criminalize legions of veterans, senior citizens and upstanding, productive members of society while maximizing profits for manufacturers of actual deadly drugs (who demonstrably created much of the real problem). Amongst the many consequences will be more overdose deaths and the overnight creation of felons from some of our finest citizens.
