Regarding Board of Pharmacy Petition “Addition of kratom to Schedule I”

I am commenting on behalf of myself, my loved ones and many friends that have had nothing but great experiences with Kratom against the scheduling of Kratom as Schedule 1 in your area.

I am a 12 year Kratom advocate who has not only safely and effectively utilized Kratom in my life, but has witnessed Kratom positively impact the lives of countless individuals over the course of those 12 years. There is immense amounts of evidence to support that Kratom is a much safer and healthier alternative to several other substances when utilized properly. I work to help spread awareness and information backed by studies and science so that other individuals can be given the same opportunity to change their lives the way I have through my discovery of Kratom. Scheduling Kratom would not only make many people who rely on Kratom criminals for bettering their lives via a plant, but it would drive all of the people who have used it to help their chronic pain, anxiety, and sleeplessness naturally to resort to more harmful and unnatural substances, which would inevitably drive the crime and overdose rate up. Overdose rates are higher than ever and only continuing to rise. Scheduling Kratom would only be adding to an already overwhelming problem. I guarantee that no one in your area that is recommending to schedule Kratom has ever used it. Please consider the account of someone with more than a decade’s worth of experience. Thank you for your time.
