Please use Science and Common Sense here

I currently live in Indiana, which unfortunately criminalized Kratom without any scientific research or due diligence. Please don't make the same mistake in VA.

I suffer from chronic moderate/severe pain, and my doctor has prescribed over three years 120 5mg hydrocodone per month! (Not to mention Celebrex, Mirtzapine, and high doses of gabapentin. The Vicodin (generic) drug is highly addictive and was ruining my life and actually increasing my pain.

Ironically, this process was totally "legal" and quickly put me on the road to addiction to synthetic narcotic garbage. However, it is a big seller for "big pharma," which hates Kratom, as it considers it a "competitor."

I stopped taking this drug (Vicodin) and the others of my own accord and was able to take a low dose of Kratom twice per day. This natural supplement - it is plant-based and not a synthetic drug - enabled me to function without continuing to risk heavy opioid addiction. I still have pain, but it allows me the ability to work and function.

Please follow the FDA's decision to do the research before putting people in jail for possessing a supplement on par with melatonin.

I am a Christian, for what that means to you, and I will not lie.

Sincerely,

Mike Russo
