The regulations protect the health of migrant workers and their families by supplementing the occupational safety and health regulations adopted by the Safety and Health Codes Board, pursuant to Chatper 3 (Section 40.1-22 et seq.) of Title 40.1 of the Code of Virginia, to the extent necessary to ensure safe and healthy living conditions.
