Description of Proposed Guidance Document Changes
Changes have been made to the DARS’ Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) Manual to clarify that Pre-ETS can be provided to students with disabilities who are receiving services in other recognized education programs. Examples of other recognized education programs include licensed/accredited psychiatric residential treatment facilities (PRTFs), private day programs, and other state-operated programs as defined in State Regulation 8VAC20-81-10.
