Quality Assurance Project Plan for the Alternate Water Supply Program - Revision 3 |
Document ID |
LPR-SRR-2014-03 |
Summary |
The Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) Storage Tank Program investigates reports of petroleum releases and ensures they are characterized and cleaned up to prevent risk to human health and
the environment. If water supplies are impacted by petroleum constituents, the DEQ Storage Tank Program may provide an alternate water supply or treatment system to remove petroleum from the water supply. The purpose of the Quality Assurance Project Plan (QAPP) for the Alternate Water Supply Program is to ensure that procedures used and data collected by DEQ staff and DEQ-hired contractors are of sufficient quality to support the decisions about the need to provide alternate water supplies to persons having wells that are impacted by petroleum. |
