You are either born male or born female.  A public school system should not join in on a matter like this since sex was established at(before) birth.  Children born male, are male. Children born female, are female.  Any question of a child's sex should be evaluated and then the child and family should be notified of assistance with seeking mental help.  Public school children should not be exposed to opposite sex children in the bathroom, locker room, etc.  A situation such as this potential exposure would be a detriment to all children's lives and cause mass confusion.  Sorry but my child does not need this exposure! 

The anti-discrimination, anti-bully programs that are already in place should be used in this situation.  

Also, teachers and staff should not be secretive about this or any other subject as stated in the proposal.  A child's parents rightfully should know of any behavior that is outside of normal.  Teachers and staff should also not be tasked with the chore of becoming mental health professionals. 

This whole discussion is disgusting to me.  My family lives a life of love for all but in no way, shape, or form will I ever support this!
