CE is a needless expense and burden on working professionals

Becoming a PE is a long and draw out process requiring great monetary resources and many years of personnel commitment to obtain.  Passing the FE, meeting the professional experience requirements, the professional references and finally taking and passing the PE exam. It seems to me that’s more punishment than any one person should be required to withstand to become licensed.  Now let’s add several hundred dollars in CE cost.  Bottom line - what does the state of Virginia have to gain from this regulation other than to help fill its own coffers - VOTE NO
