All professionals should oppose the adoption of continuing education.

It has always been my opinion that a select few are the ones that have pushed for the enactment of continuing education. First they tried to convince the Board to take it on ,but that failed. They  then proceeded to lobby and browbeat the State Legislature into enacting a law forcing the Board to bring about  their  whims. Their reasoning was,  by having continuing education we would appear more professional to the general public. In reality, this is only a guise to charge higher fees for their work.  It is my strong belief that if  you conduct yourself in a professional way you will be looked at as a professional. We as professionals should always keep ourself abreast of all of the various items that pretain to a particular profession.  That is already a requirement. I do not feel that by adopting  continuing education we as professionals nor the public  will be benefited . Therefore, I am intensely opposed to the adoption of this improper and inane set of regulations.

Signed,
