No Continuing education for P.E.'s

You have got to be kidding?  The entire licensing ideal is nothing more than a revenue generator disguised as protecting the public welfare and mostly about the government controlling the use of manpower and capital in the economy. Does that make you feel powerful? The state budget grows out of control, yes, out of control to fund the *never enough* public school system and road building.

Now, its apparent a new lobbyist effort is underway to garnish even more taxpayer dollars for professional training/teaching in the face of the near billions of bond borrowing by Kaine already.

How does this *education* make the citizens safer?  There is little connection between safety and billions $$ vs. safety and $1,000's when it comes to personal behavior.  How are you going to pay for this??  Raise our dues or taxes or borrow more next year??  I think I would seriously let me license expire as its not worth the assault on principle or cost and aggravation.
