Basic Question
Basic Question
As a pastor I would be considered pro-life or called "anti-abortion" by some. But isn't the main argument for legal abortion that without it women will be driven to unsafe illegal abortions. So why would any sensible person want to reduce regulations on this practice? Wouldn't concern for the "safety" of the women involved want the highest standards of care? Doesn't demanding less regulation for this industry than other kinds of health care speak to a political agenda rather than an actual health concern? Shouldn't the board of health be concerned about the actual health issues, not political positions?
