Physical therapists should not be allowed to perform Dry Needling because they are not licensed and have not received the proper training like a licensed acupuncture physician. Do Physical Therapists know the correct way of needling in a specific area of the body? Do Physical Therapists even ask the patient before hand are they afraid needles? If the patient is, do they know any other way tools to help the patient to get relief? At the same time, haven't PT's taken the hipporcratic oath, to do no harm?
