I truly believe that for Physical Therapists to do dry needling is drangerous without extensive training and experience. It goes the same way with having an Acupuncturist give physical therapy exercises to patient without know having much training or understanding the mechanism of the exercises and what is the goal to help the patient strengthen their physicality. If physical therapists want to do dry needling, they should attend acupuncture school and go through the program to get their license.
