A physical therapist who completes a 4 year undergrad, 3 year doctorate program is an expert in human anatomy from a neuromusculoskeletal perspective. A new graduate PT is licesced to perform wound debridement the day they graduate. How could they be unqualified to use a needle to resolve a trigger point? This is just the acupuncturists worrying that another qualified professional may take some of their patients as a PT can do other things in addition to TPDN.
