My husband and I were planning a long summer vacation driving the Blue Ridge Parkway and visiting the Civil War Battlefields.We are both teachers and huge history buffs. We spent last summer at Gettysburg and Appomattox Courthouse. We were very excited about our trip and had mapped out our route! Now, we will be heading into the Carolinas and staying in home sweet home Tennessee with our concealed handguns. I guess Virginia needs to change its slogan, because your state definitely isn't for lovers anymore!!
