The majority of attacks have been in areas designated as"gun free zones".  This is just another attempt to limit law abiding citizens authorized to carry arms to protect themselves and their families.  There is no response quick enough once an attack begins to protect individuals from harm unless those able and willing to defend themselves and others have the ability to do so.
