Gun free safe zones are like a MAGNET to violent criminals intending on terrorizing the innocent Virginia citizens... Did we not learn anything from my beloved school, VA Tech??? And other "gun free zones"..? The only "Safe Zone" is for the CRIMINAL , NOT for the law-abiding citizens. They want to go to where they know they cannot be stopped before carrying out their brutal and senseless acts. As great as first responders are, it's obvious once the first shot is fired, it's to late... The murderer will have done killed and injured many before they even get the information that another terrorist act/mass murder has happened. Thomas Jefferson had a great comment quoting Cesare Beccaria about gun control, look it up, common sense back then and STILL common sense today. Please protect our citizens by letting them protect themselves. Taking this 2nd Amendment freedom away will certainly cause more deaths. Please do not let media and/or whatever other reasons cost this great state more innocent lives. Again LAWS ONLY AFFECT LAW-ADIDING CITIZENS. I hope u will keep an open mind about this and other decisions which affect innocent lives greatly. Thank You Sir.
